PRIVACY POLICY
Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited
Effective Date: 08 June 2026
Last Updated: 08 June 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited (CIN: U62013MP2025PTC074186), having its registered office at Shop No. C1, Kalptarru Mall, Mahaveer Chowk, Balaghat – 481001, Madhya Pradesh, India (“Fixomotive”, “we”, “our”, “us”), collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when you access or use our software, websites, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy applies to all three Fixomotive products — Fixomotive Repair, Fixomotive Skills, and Fixomotive Store — and to all subscription plans, whether accessed directly through Fixomotive or through an authorized Channel Partner.
For Fixomotive Store, this Policy uses two terms: a “Site Owner” is the business that builds and publishes a website, store, or booking page using Fixomotive Store; an “End Visitor” is a person who visits, books, enquires, or buys through a Site Owner’s published website. The way we handle Site Owner data and End Visitor data is different, and is explained in Section 7.
Fixomotive is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian data protection laws.
By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform.
1. Our Role: Data Fiduciary and Data Processor
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Fixomotive acts as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data that our Users (including Fixomotive Repair users, Fixomotive Skills users, and Fixomotive Store Site Owners) share with us when they register and use the Platform. This means we determine the purpose and means of processing that data and are responsible for protecting it.
However, for the personal data of End Visitors that a Fixomotive Store Site Owner collects through its published website, the Site Owner is the Data Fiduciary and Fixomotive acts only as a Data Processor on the Site Owner’s behalf. This distinction is explained in detail in Section 7.
For subscriptions obtained through authorized Channel Partners, Fixomotive and the Channel Partner may act as joint Data Fiduciaries. Details are provided in Section 8.

2.6 Fixomotive Store Site Owner Data
When you build a website using Fixomotive Store, we collect and store the content and configuration you create, including business details, images, logos, product and service listings, prices, booking settings, and the data you choose to publish on your site.
2.7 Domain Registration Data and KYC
When you register a domain through Fixomotive Store, we collect the registrant details required by the relevant registrar and registry. For .in and .bharat domains, the .IN Registry (NIXI) requires identity verification (KYC); accordingly, we collect and share the KYC information necessary to complete and maintain such registration, as required by the registry.
2.8 End Visitor Data (processed on behalf of a Site Owner)
When an End Visitor interacts with a Site Owner’s published website — for example, by making a booking, sending an enquiry, filling a contact form, or placing an order — the website may collect that End Visitor’s personal data (such as name, contact details, and booking or order information). Fixomotive only processes this data on the Site Owner’s behalf in order to operate the website (see Section 7).
2.9 Cookies and Tracking Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 14 for details.
We do not collect unnecessary personal data beyond what is required to operate the Platform and fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy.

3.3 Marketing Communication (with Consent)
With your opt-in consent, we may send our Users promotional offers, new feature announcements, newsletters, and personalized recommendations. You may unsubscribe at any time. Fixomotive sends marketing communications only to its own Users (such as Site Owners) — Fixomotive never sends marketing communications to a Site Owner’s End Visitors (see Section 7.3).
3.4 Analytics and Product Improvement
- Understanding how the Platform is used and which features are most and least used
- Region-wise and segment-wise usage patterns
- Improving software performance, stability, and accuracy
- Planning future development and our product roadmap
For this purpose, Fixomotive may use anonymized and aggregated data about websites built on Fixomotive Store and activity across the Platform — stripped of personal identifiers — to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Platform and to develop upcoming products. Such anonymized data cannot be used to identify any Site Owner or End Visitor.
3.5 Fixi AI Training and Improvement
We use anonymized user interactions with our Fixi AI assistant to train, refine, and improve our AI models. User queries and AI responses are anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information before being used for training, and no personal identifiers (name, mobile, email, business name) are retained in AI training data. You may request exclusion of your interactions from AI training by emailing contact@fixomotive.in.
3.6 Security and Fraud Prevention
- Detecting and preventing unauthorized access
- Identifying and blocking fraudulent or illegal activity
- Maintaining Platform security and integrity, and investigating violations of our Terms
3.7 Legal and Regulatory Compliance
- Complying with applicable Indian laws and regulations
- Responding to lawful requests from authorized government authorities
- Maintaining tax, billing, and financial records as required by law
- Protecting our legal rights and interests
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data on the following grounds: your explicit consent obtained at registration and use; necessity for performance of the contract (your subscription agreement); legitimate business interests (improving the Platform, fraud prevention); compliance with legal obligations; and protection of vital interests where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@fixomotive.in, subject to legal and contractual obligations that may require continued processing.
5. How We Share Your Information
Fixomotive follows a strict no-selling of personal data policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Your personal information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
5.1 With You
We provide you access to your own data through your account dashboard or upon request.
5.2 With Authorized Service Providers
We share data with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform under strict confidentiality and data protection obligations, including cloud hosting providers, payment gateways and processors, domain registrars, SMS and email service providers, CRM platforms, analytics and monitoring tools, support and helpdesk platforms, and fraud-detection and cybersecurity providers. These providers may process your data only for the purposes specified by Fixomotive.
5.3 With Channel Partners
If you subscribed through an authorized Channel Partner, your personal data will be shared between Fixomotive and the Channel Partner on a joint basis. See Section 8.
5.4 With Government and Legal Authorities
We may disclose information to government authorities, law enforcement agencies, regulators, or courts where they have the proper legal authority and right to require it — for example, under a valid court order, summons, or legal notice, or where compelled by applicable law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fixomotive, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud, security threats, or illegal activity. We share only the minimum information necessary and, where legally permitted, notify the affected user.
5.5 In Business Transfers
In a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you and ensure the acquiring party is bound by terms consistent with this Policy.
6. Fixomotive Skills — Content Partner Data Handling
Fixomotive Skills may feature educational content from third-party sponsors, supporters, OEMs, training institutes, and other contributors (“Content Partners”). We may share limited aggregate and anonymized engagement data (such as views, completion rates, and region-wise usage) with the respective Content Partner. We do not share your personal identifying information with Content Partners unless you explicitly opt in to a sponsored program, certification, or contest, in which case the Content Partner may collect your data directly under its own privacy policy. Fixomotive is not responsible for the data practices of Content Partners in programs you join voluntarily.
7. Fixomotive Store — Site Owner and End Visitor Data
7.1 Two Categories of Data
Fixomotive Store involves two distinct categories of personal data:
- Site Owner Data — the account and business data of the business using Fixomotive Store. Fixomotive is the Data Fiduciary for this data, as for our other products.
- End Visitor Data — personal data of the Site Owner’s own customers, collected through the Site Owner’s published website (such as booking, enquiry, contact-form, or order details).
7.2 Roles for End Visitor Data
For End Visitor Data, the Site Owner is the Data Fiduciary — the Site Owner determines what data is collected from its End Visitors and for what purpose. Fixomotive acts only as a Data Processor, processing End Visitor Data strictly on the Site Owner’s instructions and solely to host and operate the Site Owner’s website and its booking and store features.
7.3 We Do Not Use End Visitor Data for Our Marketing
Fixomotive does not use, sell, or share the personal data of a Site Owner’s End Visitors for its own marketing, or for the marketing of any third party. Control over End Visitor Data rests entirely with the Site Owner (the workshop or business).
As the Data Fiduciary for its End Visitors, the Site Owner is responsible for maintaining its own privacy notice, establishing a lawful basis and obtaining any required consents from its End Visitors, and responding to data-rights requests made by its End Visitors. End Visitors who wish to exercise data rights should contact the relevant Site Owner directly.
7.4 Anonymized Platform and Product Improvement
Fixomotive may use anonymized and aggregated data about the websites built on Fixomotive Store and the activity occurring on the Platform — with all personal identifiers removed — to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Platform and to develop upcoming products. This anonymized data cannot be used to identify any individual Site Owner or End Visitor and is never used for marketing to End Visitors.
7.5 Domain Registration and KYC
For domains registered through Fixomotive Store, we collect and share the registrant and KYC information required by the registrar and registry. .in and .bharat domains require KYC verification mandated by the .IN Registry (NIXI), and this information is collected and shared only to complete and maintain that registration.
7.6 Suspension for Illegal Activity
Where a published website or domain is used for any illegal activity or in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy, Fixomotive may immediately suspend the website and/or domain. In such cases, relevant data may be disclosed to authorities in accordance with Section 5.4.
8. Channel Partner Data Sharing
8.1 Joint Data Custodianship
When you subscribe through a Channel Partner, your personal data, account information, and usage data are shared between Fixomotive and the Channel Partner, and both act as joint Data Fiduciaries under the DPDPA. Each party is independently responsible for protecting your data under applicable law.
8.2 What Channel Partners May Access
Channel Partners may access your personal details (name, mobile, email, business information), subscription and billing details, payment history, support and communication records, usage statistics, and other information necessary for their service delivery.
8.3 Purposes of Channel Partner Access
Channel Partners use this data to process payments and issue invoices, deliver support, handle refunds and cancellations, manage your account lifecycle, communicate about service updates or relevant offers, and comply with their own legal and tax obligations.
8.4 Channel Partner Privacy Practices
Each Channel Partner has its own privacy policy that applies in addition to this Policy. In case of conflict, the Channel Partner’s privacy policy prevails for matters under their direct control (payment data, support communications, their own marketing). Fixomotive is not responsible for the Channel Partner’s data handling practices.
8.5 Your Rights with Channel Partners
To exercise data rights regarding data held by a Channel Partner, contact the Channel Partner directly, or email contact@fixomotive.in and we will help facilitate your request. For data Fixomotive holds independently, you may contact us directly.
9. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Platform integrates with third-party services including payment gateways (Razorpay and similar), domain registrars, CRM and support platforms, SMS and email APIs, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and error-tracking tools, and AI/ML providers (for Fixi AI features). Each operates under its own privacy policy and terms. While we select providers with strong data protection practices, Fixomotive is not responsible for their independent data practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
10. Data Storage and Security
10.1 Data Localization
All personal data of our users is stored on servers located in India, in compliance with applicable data localization requirements.
10.2 Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted storage and transmission, secure channels (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control, need-to-know employee access, regular security audits, OTP-based security, firewalls and intrusion detection, and data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
10.3 Limitation of Security
No electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. While we follow industry-standard practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
10.4 Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected users as soon as practicable, report the breach to the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDPA, take prompt action to contain and investigate it, and inform affected users of protective measures.
11. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Account data: retained while your account is active; eligible personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure or a deletion request, except where law requires longer retention.
- Fixomotive Store site content: retained while your plan is active; on termination or non-renewal, your published site and stored content may be unpublished and deleted (see Terms, Section 22).
- End Visitor data: retained on behalf of the Site Owner while their plan is active and deleted or returned on the Site Owner’s instruction or on termination, subject to legal requirements.
- Domain KYC and registration records: retained as required by the registrar, registry, and applicable law.
- Usage and analytics data: anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement; it cannot personally identify you.
- Communication records: may be retained, including in non-identifiable form, for support quality, dispute resolution, and service accuracy.
- Billing and financial records: retained for 7 years or as required under Indian tax and company law.
- Backups: deleted data may persist temporarily in encrypted backups and is overwritten according to standard cycles (typically 30 to 90 days).
- AI training data: anonymized conversations may be retained for ongoing model improvement, stripped of personal identifiers.
12. Your Rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDPA, you are a “Data Principal” with the rights to access your personal data; to correct, complete, or update inaccurate data; to request erasure where the data is no longer necessary, consent is withdrawn, the data was unlawfully processed, or deletion is legally required (subject to retention required for billing, tax, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention); to withdraw consent; to grievance redressal; and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise these rights, email contact@fixomotive.in with the subject “Data Rights Request”, your registered account details, and a clear description of your request. We typically respond within 30 days and may require identity verification first.
Note for Fixomotive Store End Visitors: if you are an End Visitor and wish to exercise rights over data collected through a business’s website, please contact that business (the Site Owner) directly, as it is the Data Fiduciary for your data.
13. Marketing Communication Preferences
13.1 Transactional Communication
OTPs, payment confirmations, invoices, service notifications, security alerts, and policy updates are necessary for service delivery and cannot be opted out of.
13.2 Marketing Communication
Promotional offers, product announcements, newsletters, and recommendations are sent only with your explicit opt-in consent. You may opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying “STOP” to marketing SMS, through your account settings, or by emailing contact@fixomotive.in. Opting out does not affect your access to the Platform or transactional messages. As stated in Section 7.3, Fixomotive does not market to a Site Owner’s End Visitors.
14. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience. These include essential cookies (login, session, security), analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), preference cookies, and performance cookies. Third-party tools may set their own cookies under their respective policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may impact login and session management. Websites published by Site Owners on Fixomotive Store may also set their own cookies, which are the responsibility of the relevant Site Owner. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
15. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is intended for professional and business use and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us personal information should contact contact@fixomotive.in.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date, and for material changes we will notify registered users by email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform and may request account closure.
