This AI Output Policy (“Policy”) describes how Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited (CIN: U62013MP2025PTC074186), having its registered office at Shop No. C1, Kalptarru Mall, Mahaveer Chowk, Balaghat – 481001, Madhya Pradesh, India (“Fixomotive”, “we”, “our”, “us”) uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) on its Platform, the limitations of AI-generated content, and your responsibilities as a user interacting with AI features.

This Policy specifically covers our proprietary AI assistant Fixi AI, as well as any other AI-powered features integrated into Fixomotive Repair and Fixomotive Skills.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Shipping and Delivery Policy, which together govern your use of the Platform.

By using any AI-powered feature on the Platform, you acknowledge and accept the terms, limitations, and disclaimers set out in this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must not use our AI features.

  1. What is Fixi AI

Fixi AI is Fixomotive’s proprietary artificial intelligence assistant designed to support automotive technicians, mechanics, workshops, and training institutes with diagnostic and repair guidance.

1.1 Core Capabilities

  • Answering diagnostic and troubleshooting questions in natural language
  • Explaining Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), symptoms, and likely causes
  • Suggesting step-by-step repair procedures based on technical references
  • Helping locate relevant wiring diagrams, component data, and pinouts
  • Supporting queries in multiple Indian languages
  • Providing educational explanations for training and skill development

1.2 Underlying Technology

Fixi AI is built using a combination of:

  • Large language models (LLMs) trained on automotive technical content
  • Fixomotive’s proprietary database of automotive knowledge, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures
  • Anonymized user interactions used for continuous improvement
  • Third-party AI and machine learning infrastructure for model hosting and inference
  1. Nature and Purpose of AI Outputs

All content generated by Fixi AI and other AI features is provided for reference and educational purposes only.

AI-generated outputs include but are not limited to:

  • Text responses to user queries
  • Suggested diagnostic steps and probable causes
  • Explanations of repair procedures
  • Summaries of technical documentation
  • Language translations
  • Personalized recommendations

 

AI outputs are not professional advice and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any automotive repair, safety-critical decision, or commercial action.

  1. Limitations of AI Outputs

You acknowledge and accept that AI systems, including Fixi AI, have inherent limitations. These include, but are not limited to:

3.1 Accuracy Limitations

  • AI outputs may contain factual errors, outdated information, or technical inaccuracies
  • AI may generate responses that appear confident but are incorrect (commonly known as “hallucinations”)
  • AI may misunderstand ambiguous queries and produce irrelevant or incorrect answers
  • AI may not account for specific vehicle variants, regional differences, or unique conditions

3.2 Data and Training Cutoff

  • AI models are trained on data up to a specific point in time, known as the training cutoff
  • Information about newer vehicle models, recent software updates, or recent industry developments may not be reflected in AI responses
  • Our AI models are updated periodically, but there will always be a gap between real-world changes and AI knowledge

3.3 No OEM Verification

  • AI outputs are not verified, endorsed, or approved by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
  • AI responses are not substitutes for official OEM service manuals, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), or manufacturer-specific diagnostic procedures
  • Always refer to official OEM documentation for definitive guidance on warranty-covered vehicles, safety-critical repairs, or legally regulated procedures

3.4 Context and Interpretation Limits

  • AI cannot physically inspect the vehicle, observe sensor readings, or feel component conditions
  • AI cannot replace the judgement of a qualified technician observing real-world conditions
  • AI may not understand colloquial descriptions, regional automotive terminology, or workshop-specific slang accurately

3.5 Language and Translation Limits

  • When responding in Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, etc.), translations may lose precision
  • Technical automotive terminology in regional languages may not be fully standardized
  • Critical safety terminology should always be verified in the user’s preferred technical language

3.6 Availability Limits

  • AI services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party provider outages
  • AI response times may vary based on query complexity and system load
  • Some features may be limited based on subscription tier or geographic region
  1. User Responsibilities

As a professional technician or workshop user, you have the primary responsibility for all repair decisions. When using AI outputs, you must:

  • Apply your professional training, skill, and experience when interpreting AI suggestions
  • Independently verify all critical information using official OEM documentation before taking action
  • Cross-check AI suggestions with authoritative sources such as service manuals, technical bulletins, and manufacturer databases
  • Follow proper diagnostic procedures, safety protocols, and use professional tools
  • Never perform safety-critical repairs (braking, steering, airbag, emission systems) based on AI output alone
  • Report errors, inaccuracies, or suspicious outputs to Fixomotive through feedback channels
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws, safety regulations, and vehicle standards

 

You remain fully responsible for any repair work performed on customer vehicles, regardless of whether you used Fixi AI or other Platform features during the diagnostic or repair process.

  1. Fixomotive’s Disclaimer of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fixomotive disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising from or related to your reliance on, interpretation of, or action based on AI-generated outputs.

5.1 Specific Non-Liability Scenarios

Fixomotive shall NOT be liable for:

  • Incorrect diagnoses made based on AI suggestions
  • Vehicle damage caused by repair procedures suggested by AI
  • Personal injury or accidents resulting from repairs based on AI guidance
  • Fatalities or third-party injuries resulting from workshop errors
  • Loss of revenue, profit, or business reputation arising from repair outcomes
  • Customer complaints, disputes, or legal claims against your workshop
  • Warranty voidance or OEM dispute due to non-OEM procedures
  • Regulatory penalties or compliance failures
  • Safety issues or product recalls related to vehicles repaired using AI guidance
  • Environmental damage from incorrect emission system repairs
  • Data breaches or unauthorized access affecting customer vehicle records
  • Misinterpretation of AI responses due to language translation
  • Decisions made based on hallucinated or factually incorrect AI outputs
  • Economic loss suffered by you, your customers, or third parties

5.2 Limitation of Liability

In any event, Fixomotive’s total cumulative liability to you in connection with AI outputs shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fixomotive in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, as per the limitation set out in our Terms and Conditions.

5.3 Use at Own Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that all use of Fixi AI and other AI features is at your sole risk. Fixomotive provides AI features on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

  1. Acceptable Use of AI

You agree to use AI features on the Platform only for lawful and legitimate professional purposes. You shall NOT:

  • Use Fixi AI to diagnose or repair vehicles you are not qualified to service
  • Use AI outputs to deceive, defraud, or mislead customers
  • Attempt to bypass AI safety guardrails or elicit harmful content
  • Use AI to generate content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Share AI outputs as if they were your own professional diagnosis without verification
  • Use AI for any illegal activity or to circumvent vehicle safety regulations
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the AI models
  • Use the AI to develop, train, or improve competing products or services
  • Submit queries designed to manipulate AI outputs for malicious purposes
  • Use AI to harass, defame, or harm any individual or entity
  1. AI Training and Data Use

Fixomotive uses anonymized user interactions with Fixi AI to continuously improve the accuracy, relevance, and quality of AI responses. This is done in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and other applicable Indian data protection laws.

7.1 How Training Data is Used

  • User queries and AI responses are collected and stored securely
  • Before being used for model training, all data is anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information
  • Personal identifiers such as name, mobile number, email, workshop name, and location are removed
  • Anonymized data is used to identify patterns, improve response accuracy, and correct AI errors
  • Aggregated insights help us understand common automotive issues and improve the knowledge base

7.2 What is Not Done

  • We do not sell your conversations or AI interactions to third parties
  • We do not use individually identifiable data to train public or external AI models
  • We do not combine anonymized training data with personally identifiable information
  • We do not use training data for purposes unrelated to improving Fixomotive’s AI and Platform

7.3 Your Control

You have the right to:

  • Request that your interactions be excluded from AI training by emailing contact@fixomotive.in
  • Review how your data is handled through our Privacy Policy
  • Exercise your rights as a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • Withdraw consent for AI training use at any time

 

Withdrawal of consent for AI training does not affect your access to AI features. You can continue using Fixi AI with the assurance that future interactions will not be used for training.

7.4 Retention of Training Data

  • Anonymized training data may be retained indefinitely to support ongoing AI improvement
  • Since the data is anonymized, it cannot be linked back to individual users
  • This anonymized dataset forms part of Fixomotive’s intellectual property and competitive knowledge
  1. Sensitive and Safety-Critical Domains

Certain automotive repairs involve elevated safety or regulatory risks. For the following domains, AI outputs must be treated with extra caution and independently verified before any action:

  • Airbag and Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS)
  • Braking systems (ABS, EBD, regenerative braking on EVs)
  • Steering systems (electric power steering, steer-by-wire)
  • Emission control systems (SCR, DPF, AdBlue/DEF)
  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage battery and charging systems
  • Fuel delivery and injection systems
  • Exhaust and thermal management components
  • Any system directly impacting passenger safety or regulatory compliance

 

For these systems, AI outputs should be considered only as preliminary references. Always consult official OEM documentation, certified training materials, and qualified supervisors before performing any repair.

  1. AI Errors and Feedback

We are committed to continuously improving Fixi AI. If you encounter errors, incorrect responses, or suspicious outputs, please report them.

9.1 How to Report Issues

  1. Use the “Feedback” or “Report” option within the AI chat interface
  2. Email contact@fixomotive.in with a description of the issue
  3. Include the AI query, the problematic response, and your expected correct answer
  4. Provide screenshots or chat transcripts where possible

9.2 Fixomotive’s Response

  • We review user-reported AI errors to identify patterns and improve accuracy
  • Reports are used to retrain and fine-tune AI models
  • However, individual reports do not guarantee immediate corrections
  • Users are not compensated for reporting AI errors; this is treated as collaborative improvement
  1. Transparency and Explainability

We strive to be transparent about how Fixi AI operates. Where possible, AI responses include:

  • Indicators that the content is AI-generated
  • References to data sources or automotive databases used (where available)
  • Confidence levels or caveats for uncertain information
  • Suggestions to verify with OEM documentation for critical queries

 

However, due to the nature of machine learning systems, not every AI decision can be fully explained. We continually work to improve AI transparency and interpretability.

  1. Third-Party AI Components

Fixomotive’s AI features may integrate with third-party AI and machine learning services, including but not limited to:

  • Cloud-based AI infrastructure providers
  • Third-party large language model APIs
  • Language translation services
  • AI performance monitoring tools

 

Each third-party service operates under its own terms and privacy policies. Fixomotive selects service providers with strong security and data protection practices, but is not responsible for the independent operations of these third parties.

  1. Updates and Evolution of AI

AI technology evolves rapidly. Fixomotive reserves the right to:

  • Update, modify, or replace AI models at any time
  • Add or remove AI features based on user needs and technical capabilities
  • Adjust AI behaviour to improve accuracy, safety, or compliance
  • Change underlying third-party AI providers or infrastructure
  • Implement new safety guardrails or content policies

 

Continued use of the Platform after AI updates constitutes your acceptance of changes. Material changes to AI functionality that affect user experience will be communicated through our website, email, or in-app notifications.

  1. Children and AI

The Fixomotive Platform, including AI features, is strictly intended for professional use by individuals aged 18 and above. AI features are not designed, tested, or safe for use by children or untrained users. We do not knowingly allow minors to interact with our AI systems.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AI Output Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our AI capabilities, legal requirements, or best practices. When changes are made:

  • The updated Policy will be published on our website
  • The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised
  • Material changes will be notified to registered users via email or in-app notification
  • Continued use of AI features after changes constitutes your acceptance
  1. Governing Law

This AI Output Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable regulations.

Any dispute arising from this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution mechanism set out in the Fixomotive Terms and Conditions. Courts at Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any non-arbitrable matters.
