This AI Output Policy (“Policy”) describes how Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited (CIN: U62013MP2025PTC074186), having its registered office at Shop No. C1, Kalptarru Mall, Mahaveer Chowk, Balaghat – 481001, Madhya Pradesh, India (“Fixomotive”, “we”, “our”, “us”) uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) on its Platform, the limitations of AI-generated content, and your responsibilities as a user interacting with AI features.
This Policy covers our proprietary AI assistant Fixi AI, as well as any other AI-powered features integrated into Fixomotive Repair, Fixomotive Skills, and (where offered) Fixomotive Store. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and EULA.
By using any AI-powered feature on the Platform, you acknowledge and accept the terms, limitations, and disclaimers set out in this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must not use our AI features.
1. What is Fixi AI
Fixi AI is Fixomotive’s proprietary artificial intelligence assistant designed to support automotive technicians, mechanics, workshops, and training institutes with diagnostic and repair guidance.
1.1 Core Capabilities
- Answering diagnostic and troubleshooting questions in natural language
- Explaining Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), symptoms, and likely causes
- Suggesting step-by-step repair procedures based on technical references
- Helping locate relevant wiring diagrams, component data, and pinouts
- Supporting queries in multiple Indian languages
- Providing educational explanations for training and skill development
1.2 Underlying Technology
Fixi AI is built using a combination of large language models (LLMs) trained on automotive technical content, Fixomotive’s proprietary database of automotive knowledge and repair procedures, anonymized user interactions used for continuous improvement, and third-party AI and machine learning infrastructure for model hosting and inference.
2. Nature and Purpose of AI Outputs
All content generated by Fixi AI and other AI features is provided for reference and educational purposes only. AI-generated outputs include text responses, suggested diagnostic steps and probable causes, explanations of repair procedures, summaries of technical documentation, language translations, and personalized recommendations. AI outputs are not professional advice and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any automotive repair, safety-critical decision, or commercial action.
3. Limitations of AI Outputs
You acknowledge that AI systems, including Fixi AI, have inherent limitations, including but not limited to:
3.1 Accuracy Limitations
AI outputs may contain factual errors, outdated information, or technical inaccuracies; may appear confident but be incorrect (“hallucinations”); may misunderstand ambiguous queries; and may not account for specific vehicle variants, regional differences, or unique conditions.
3.2 Data and Training Cutoff
AI models are trained on data up to a specific point in time. Information about newer vehicle models, recent software updates, or recent developments may not be reflected. Models are updated periodically, but a gap between real-world changes and AI knowledge will always exist.
3.3 No OEM Verification
AI outputs are not verified, endorsed, or approved by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and are not substitutes for official OEM service manuals, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), or manufacturer-specific procedures. Always refer to official OEM documentation for warranty-covered vehicles, safety-critical repairs, or legally regulated procedures.
3.4 Context and Interpretation Limits
AI cannot physically inspect the vehicle, observe sensor readings, or feel component conditions; cannot replace the judgement of a qualified technician observing real-world conditions; and may not accurately understand colloquial descriptions, regional terminology, or workshop-specific slang.
3.5 Language and Translation Limits
When responding in Indian languages, translations may lose precision, technical terminology may not be fully standardized, and critical safety terminology should always be verified in the user’s preferred technical language.
3.6 Availability Limits
AI services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party outages; response times may vary; and some features may be limited by subscription tier or region.
4. User Responsibilities
As a professional technician or workshop user, you have the primary responsibility for all repair decisions. When using AI outputs, you must apply your professional training and experience; independently verify all critical information using official OEM documentation before acting; cross-check AI suggestions with authoritative sources; follow proper diagnostic procedures, safety protocols, and professional tools; never perform safety-critical repairs (braking, steering, airbag, emission systems) based on AI output alone; report errors or suspicious outputs to Fixomotive; and comply with all applicable Indian laws, safety regulations, and vehicle standards.
You remain fully responsible for any repair work performed on customer vehicles, regardless of whether you used Fixi AI or other Platform features.
5. Fixomotive’s Disclaimer of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fixomotive disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising from or related to your reliance on, interpretation of, or action based on AI-generated outputs.
5.1 Specific Non-Liability Scenarios
Fixomotive shall NOT be liable for incorrect diagnoses, vehicle damage, personal injury, accidents or fatalities, loss of revenue or reputation, customer complaints or legal claims against your workshop, warranty voidance or OEM disputes, regulatory penalties, safety issues or recalls, environmental damage, data breaches affecting customer vehicle records, misinterpretation due to language translation, decisions based on hallucinated or incorrect outputs, or economic loss suffered by you, your customers, or third parties — in each case arising from reliance on AI outputs.
5.2 Limitation of Liability
In any event, Fixomotive’s total cumulative liability in connection with AI outputs shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fixomotive in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, as per our Terms and Conditions.
5.3 Use at Own Risk
All use of Fixi AI and other AI features is at your sole risk. Fixomotive provides AI features on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. AI Features in Fixomotive Store (Where Offered)
Where Fixomotive Store offers AI-assisted features — for example, generating or suggesting website text, business descriptions, product or service listings, marketing copy, images, or design layouts — the general terms above apply, together with the following.
6.1 Drafts and Suggestions Only
AI-assisted output in Fixomotive Store is a starting draft or suggestion only. As the Site Owner, you must review, edit, and verify any such output before publishing or using it.
6.2 Site Owner Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, non-infringement, and appropriateness of any AI-assisted content you choose to publish on your website, store, or marketing. AI may produce inaccurate, biased, outdated, or infringing output. You must ensure that published content is truthful and not misleading, and that it complies with applicable advertising, consumer protection, and intellectual property laws.
6.3 Ownership and Liability
Consistent with the Terms and Conditions and EULA, you own and are responsible for the content you publish (including AI-assisted content), and Fixomotive is not liable for any AI-assisted content you generate or publish, or for any claims arising from it.
7. Acceptable Use of AI
You agree to use AI features only for lawful and legitimate professional purposes. You shall NOT: diagnose or repair vehicles you are not qualified to service using Fixi AI; use AI outputs to deceive, defraud, or mislead customers; attempt to bypass AI safety guardrails or elicit harmful content; use AI to generate content that infringes intellectual property rights; present AI outputs as your own professional diagnosis without verification; use AI for any illegal activity or to circumvent vehicle safety regulations; extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the AI models; use AI to develop or improve competing products; submit queries designed to manipulate outputs for malicious purposes; or use AI to harass, defame, or harm any individual or entity.
8. AI Training and Data Use
Fixomotive uses anonymized user interactions with Fixi AI to continuously improve the accuracy, relevance, and quality of AI responses, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and other applicable laws.
8.1 How Training Data is Used
User queries and AI responses are stored securely and, before being used for training, are anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information (name, mobile, email, business name, location). Anonymized data is used to identify patterns, improve accuracy, correct errors, and improve the knowledge base.
8.2 What is Not Done
We do not sell your conversations or AI interactions; do not use individually identifiable data to train public or external AI models; do not combine anonymized training data with personally identifiable information; and do not use training data for purposes unrelated to improving Fixomotive’s AI and Platform.
8.3 Your Control
You may request that your interactions be excluded from AI training by emailing contact@fixomotive.in, review how your data is handled through our Privacy Policy, exercise your rights as a Data Principal under the DPDPA, and withdraw consent for AI training at any time. Withdrawal does not affect your access to AI features.
8.4 Retention of Training Data
Anonymized training data may be retained indefinitely to support ongoing AI improvement. Since it is anonymized, it cannot be linked back to individual users, and this anonymized dataset forms part of Fixomotive’s intellectual property.
9. Sensitive and Safety-Critical Domains
Certain repairs involve elevated safety or regulatory risks. For the following, AI outputs must be treated with extra caution and independently verified before any action: airbag and Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS); braking systems (ABS, EBD, regenerative braking on EVs); steering systems (EPS, steer-by-wire); emission control systems (SCR, DPF, AdBlue/DEF); ADAS calibration; EV high-voltage battery and charging systems; fuel delivery and injection systems; exhaust and thermal management; and any system directly impacting passenger safety or regulatory compliance. For these systems, AI outputs are preliminary references only — always consult official OEM documentation, certified training materials, and qualified supervisors first.
10. AI Errors and Feedback
10.1 How to Report Issues
Use the “Feedback” or “Report” option in the AI chat interface, or email contact@fixomotive.in with the AI query, the problematic response, your expected correct answer, and screenshots or transcripts where possible.
10.2 Fixomotive’s Response
We review reported errors to identify patterns and improve accuracy, and use reports to retrain and fine-tune models. Individual reports do not guarantee immediate corrections, and users are not compensated for reporting errors; this is treated as collaborative improvement.
11. Transparency and Explainability
We strive to be transparent about how Fixi AI operates. Where possible, AI responses indicate that content is AI-generated, reference data sources where available, include caveats for uncertain information, and suggest verifying with OEM documentation for critical queries. Due to the nature of machine learning, not every AI decision can be fully explained, and we continually work to improve transparency and interpretability.
12. Third-Party AI Components
Fixomotive’s AI features may integrate with third-party AI and machine learning services, including cloud-based AI infrastructure providers, third-party large language model APIs, language translation services, and AI performance monitoring tools. Each operates under its own terms and privacy policies. We select providers with strong security and data protection practices but are not responsible for their independent operations.
13. Updates and Evolution of AI
AI technology evolves rapidly. Fixomotive reserves the right to update, modify, or replace AI models; add or remove AI features; adjust AI behaviour to improve accuracy, safety, or compliance; change third-party AI providers or infrastructure; and implement new safety guardrails or content policies. Continued use after AI updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes that affect user experience will be communicated via our website, email, or in-app notifications.
14. Children and AI
The Platform, including AI features, is strictly intended for professional and business use by individuals aged 18 and above. AI features are not designed, tested, or safe for use by children or untrained users, and we do not knowingly allow minors to interact with our AI systems.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our AI capabilities, legal requirements, or best practices. The updated Policy will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date, material changes will be notified to registered users by email or in-app notification, and continued use of AI features after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the DPDPA, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable regulations. Any dispute shall be resolved per the dispute-resolution mechanism in the Fixomotive Terms and Conditions. Courts at Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over non-arbitrable matters.
