📜 Important – Composite Consent Notice (Please Read First)
When you tick the “I agree” checkbox on the Fixomotive platform (website, web app, or mobile app), you are not agreeing to this Data Disclaimer Policy alone. You are giving your composite, combined, and legally binding consent to all five of the following documents as a single agreement:
- Terms & Conditions — your overall contract with Fixomotive for using the Platform.
- Privacy Policy — how we collect, store, share, and protect your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- AI Output Policy — how Fixi AI works, its limitations, and your responsibilities when using AI-generated content.
- End-User License Agreement (EULA) — the software license and permitted use terms.
- This Data Disclaimer Policy — how the technical data (pinouts, wiring diagrams, DTCs, manuals, AI suggestions) on our Platform is sourced, prepared, and the limits of its accuracy.
You are strongly advised to read all five documents carefully before clicking “I agree” or using the Platform in any manner. Links to all documents are always available in the footer of every Fixomotive page and in Section 18 below.
If you do not agree with any part of any one of these five documents, you must not access, register, or use the Fixomotive platform.
1. Purpose of This Policy
This Data Disclaimer Policy (“Policy”) explains how Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited (“Fixomotive”, “we”, “us”, “our”) sources, prepares, structures, and presents technical automotive data within its software, AI systems, interactive diagrams, manuals, and other technical content.
This Policy exists to provide transparency regarding the origin, nature, and reliability of the information displayed on the Fixomotive Platform, and to make clear the limits of that information and the responsibilities that rest with you as a professional user.
2. Scope and Applicability
This Policy applies to both products operated by Fixomotive under a single Platform:
- Fixomotive Repair — our automotive troubleshooting and reference platform, including Fixi AI, DTC explanations, wiring diagrams, component data, and pinouts.
- Fixomotive Skills — our learning and simulation platform for technicians, workshops, training institutes, and students.
It applies whether you access the Platform directly from Fixomotive, through an authorised Channel Partner, via a free trial, or under a paid subscription. For the Channel Partner arrangement specifically, please read Section 23 of our Terms & Conditions and Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
3. Nature of Technical Data Provided
Through the Platform, Fixomotive provides technical information of the following types:
- Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and their interpretations
- Component information, wiring diagrams, and circuit paths
- ECU/ECM/EMS pinout references
- Live data meaning and parameter interpretation
- AI-generated troubleshooting steps and probable causes (via Fixi AI)
- Manuals, schematics, and structured repair guides
- Training modules, simulations, and fault-injection exercises (Fixomotive Skills)
All content on the Platform is intended strictly for professional automotive use and must be verified during real-world diagnosis and repair using qualified judgment, proper tools, and OEM documentation. The Platform is not intended for DIY users, hobbyists, or untrained individuals, consistent with our EULA.
4. Data Sources Used by Fixomotive
The information inside Fixomotive is compiled using multiple legitimate and industry-accepted sources, including:
4.1 Reverse Engineering
Certain vehicle data (such as pinouts, sensor/actuator behaviour, wiring paths, etc.) is prepared using controlled and lawful reverse-engineering practices performed by qualified technicians on vehicles lawfully accessed by Fixomotive or its contributors.
4.2 Publicly Available Information
Data derived from vehicle manufacturer public websites, publicly published manuals, open technical bulletins, training books, industry conferences, and other publicly accessible online resources.
4.3 Workshop References
Automotive workshop and field data collected from:
- Technician case studies
- Real-world vehicle repairs and observed outcomes
- Common failure patterns across fleets and model populations
- Hands-on diagnostic experiences
4.4 Freelancers and Domain Experts
Information contributed by vetted freelance and in-house contributors, including automotive electricians, mechanics, technical researchers, and automotive data collectors who have agreed to our contributor and confidentiality terms.
4.5 No Use of Unauthorised Proprietary Material
Fixomotive does not claim OEM affiliation, and does not knowingly use any illegally obtained, confidential, leaked, stolen, or unauthorised proprietary documents. If any rights-holder believes specific content on the Platform infringes their rights, they may request removal or correction as described in Section 14.
5. Educational and Learning Purpose Disclaimer
Fixomotive provides data, diagrams, pinouts, and technical references primarily for learning, reference, and educational purposes. The intent is to help technicians and students understand how automotive systems, sensors, actuators, wiring, and diagnostics work.
Users are strongly advised not to rely on this data directly for real-world repairs without independent verification, testing, and the application of professional judgment.
All repairs must follow:
- OEM service manuals and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)
- Workshop best practices and safety protocols
- Real-time diagnostics using proper, calibrated tools
- The training and experience of a qualified technician
Fixomotive does not recommend or endorse using Platform data as a replacement for OEM guidelines, especially for warranty-covered vehicles, safety-critical systems, or legally regulated procedures.
6. Accuracy Limitations — “As-Is” Basis
Because vehicle systems vary by model, year, region, trim, and manufacturing batch, all data on the Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis and may contain:
- Inaccuracies or outdated information
- Variations from the specific vehicle in front of you
- Missing or partial information for some variants
- Differences across software revisions, MY changes, or regional configurations
You must always validate information manually using professional tools, OEM references, and your own experience before acting on it.
Fixomotive does not warrant or guarantee:
- OEM-level accuracy of any piece of content
- 100% correctness of any pinout, wiring diagram, or live-data value
- Completeness of coverage for every model, variant, or region
- An exact match for every individual vehicle in the field
7. User Responsibility and Professional Use
The Platform is intended exclusively for professional automotive workshops, qualified mechanics, technicians, garage owners, training institutes, and their authorised representatives, as set out in our Terms & Conditions and EULA.
Technicians and workshops using Fixomotive must:
- Independently verify all data before performing any repair
- Follow OEM recommendations and applicable regulations
- Use proper safety protocols and protective equipment
- Apply professional judgment at every step of the diagnosis and repair
- Never perform safety-critical repairs — braking, steering, airbag, emissions, ADAS, EV high-voltage — based on Platform data alone
Fixomotive is not responsible for any damage, loss, injury, or claim caused by incorrect interpretation, misuse, or over-reliance on Platform data. Detailed limitation of liability is set out in Section 12 of our Terms & Conditions.
8. No OEM Affiliation
Fixomotive is an independent automotive data and software platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any vehicle manufacturer in any capacity, unless explicitly stated for a specific sponsored program or Content Partner arrangement within Fixomotive Skills.
All trademarks, brand names, logos, and vehicle model references used on the Platform for identification purposes belong to their respective owners.
9. AI-Generated Content
Certain information on the Platform — especially troubleshooting suggestions, DTC interpretation, diagnostic workflows, and conversational guidance through Fixi AI — is generated or enhanced by artificial intelligence systems.
AI-generated outputs may:
- Be incomplete, outdated, or factually incorrect (“hallucinated”)
- Differ from OEM guidelines or manufacturer-specific procedures
- Require technician-level verification before any action is taken
AI assistance is never a substitute for qualified professional experience. For the detailed AI disclaimer, training-data policy, your control over AI-training, and sensitive-domain guidance (airbag, braking, ADAS, EV, etc.), please read our AI Output Policy in full.
10. Data Privacy and Security
The personal data you share with Fixomotive is handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. All user data is stored on servers located in India. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

11. Intellectual Property
All content created and owned by Fixomotive — including wiring diagrams, technical procedures, compiled pinout data, AI outputs, software, UI/UX, and branding — is the exclusive intellectual property of Fixomotive Solutions Private Limited or its licensors, and is protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws.
You shall not copy, scrape, extract, reproduce, sublicense, or use Platform content to train any competing product, except as expressly permitted. The full intellectual-property terms, including the treatment of third-party Content Partner material in Fixomotive Skills, are set out in Section 10 of our Terms & Conditions.
12. Licensing and Permitted Use
Your right to use the Platform is granted under a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for internal professional use only, as described in detail in our End-User License Agreement (EULA). Any use outside the scope of the EULA is unauthorised and may result in immediate termination and legal action.
13. Data Updates and Improvements
We continuously update, refine, and improve Platform data through:
- Technician feedback and error reports
- Fresh reverse-engineering work and re-verifications
- Workshop case studies and failure-pattern analysis
- Newly available public information and bulletins
- AI refinement, verification, and human review
Despite our best efforts, updates may not cover every model or variant instantly, and content can lag behind real-world changes.
14. Data Removal and Correction Requests
If any party, including a rights-holder or OEM representative, believes specific data on the Platform is:
- Incorrect or misleading
- Infringing on their intellectual-property or other rights
- Sensitive, confidential, or proprietary
they may request removal, correction, or rectification by emailing contact@fixomotive.in (with a copy to support@fixomotive.in). Fixomotive will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days and respond substantively within a reasonable timeframe, typically not exceeding 30 days.
15. Grievance Redressal and Data Protection Officer
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, Fixomotive has designated a Data Protection Officer to address user concerns, grievances, and data-rights requests.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute-resolution mechanism set out in Section 24 of our Terms & Conditions. Subject to that clause, courts at Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data sources, practices, product scope, or legal requirements. When we do:
- The updated Policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
- Material changes will be communicated to registered users through email or in-app notification.
- Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
18. Related Policies and Order of Precedence
This Policy forms part of a single, composite agreement between you and Fixomotive. The following documents should be read together:

- Shipping and Delivery Policy
Order of precedence in case of conflict:
- The Terms & Conditions shall prevail for matters relating to your overall contract, payment, liability, dispute resolution, and Channel Partner arrangements.
- The Privacy Policy shall prevail for matters relating to personal data handling, data rights, and Data Principal grievances.
- The AI Output Policy shall prevail for matters specifically relating to Fixi AI outputs, AI training, and AI-related limitations.
- The EULA shall prevail for matters relating to the software licence scope, permitted use, and restrictions.
- This Data Disclaimer Policy shall prevail for matters relating to the sourcing, accuracy, and educational nature of technical automotive data.
Where the same subject is addressed in more than one policy, the more specific provision shall prevail over the more general one.

By clicking “I agree”, registering an account, or using the Fixomotive Platform in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound — as a single composite consent — by this Data Disclaimer Policy, the Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the AI Output Policy, and the End-User License Agreement.
You further confirm that you are a professional automotive workshop, qualified mechanic, technician, training institute, student, or authorised representative thereof, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
