The time required to add coverage depends on several factors:

• ✓ If raw field data for your vehicle is already collected — it gets added within days
• ✓ If we have partial data — typically 1 to 2 weeks
• ✓ If field data collection is still pending — it may take several weeks to a few months, depending on regional access and vehicle availability

We will keep you updated at every stage via WhatsApp and email so you always know where your request stands in our production pipeline.

Coverage is updated continuously — there's no fixed schedule. Our production pipeline is an active system that pushes multiple updates every week:

• 🚗 New vehicles added — typically 1–3 vehicles per week
• 🔧 New systems added — covering modules like ECM, ABS, SRS, BMS, MCU, DPF, and more on existing vehicles
• 📊 Data refinements — pinouts, wiring diagrams, and DTC code accuracy are continuously improved based on real-world usage
• 🐛 Bug fixes and corrections — driven by community feedback from active workshops

These four columns in the coverage table indicate what type of information is available for each vehicle and system:

• 🔌 Wiring — Complete wiring diagrams that are interactive and zoomable, showing connections between the ECU, sensors, actuators, ground points, and power sources.
• 📍 Pinout — Detailed pin-by-pin mapping of the ECU connector. Shows which pin connects to which sensor or signal, along with voltage levels, signal types, and wire color codes.
• 🚨 DTC — Diagnostic Trouble Codes database. When a vehicle is scanned, error codes like P0420, P0171, or U0100 will appear. We provide detailed meanings, root causes, and step-by-step fix procedures for each code.
• 🔧 Component — Information about individual components like sensors, actuators, and modules. Includes location, working principles, testing methods, expected values, and common failure modes.

All this data is presented in an interactive format on the Fixomotive Repair platform, combined with visual diagrams, videos, and our Fixi AI assistant for quick troubleshooting.

The coverage table uses two status indicators to clearly communicate availability:

• 🟢 LIVE — The vehicle data is currently available on the Fixomotive Repair platform. You can immediately access wiring diagrams, pinouts, DTC codes, and component details with an active subscription.
• 🟡 COMING SOON — The vehicle is in our data collection and processing pipeline. These entries are displayed for roadmap transparency, so you can see what's planned for the near future. Coming Soon entries will show a tilde (~) symbol in the capability columns, indicating "work in progress."

Fixomotive Repair is primarily an information platform — it provides wiring diagrams, pinouts, DTC databases, and component data. A scanner is not required to access this information. You can browse all the data through your web browser or mobile app at any time.

However, to perform actual live diagnostics on a vehicle (such as reading error codes, viewing live sensor data, or modifying parameters), you'll need an OBD-II scanner or J2534-compatible diagnostic tool:

• 🔧 Entry-level scanners (₹2,000 – ₹5,000)
  Basic OBD-II tools for reading and clearing DTCs.
• 🔧 Mid-range scanners (₹15,000 – ₹50,000)
  Brand-specific tools with bidirectional control and live data streaming.
• 🔧 Professional J2534 devices (₹30,000 – ₹1,50,000)
  Pass-through tools like VXDIAG, Humzor, and JOBD2-Pro that support OEM-level diagnostics, ECU programming, and advanced parameter modification.

Fixomotive Repair is a subscription-based platform because collecting, processing, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic data requires significant resources, field work, and continuous updates.
